Port Phillip Bay plane crash: wreckage of ex-military jet found in water

Victoria police believe pilot Stephen Gale and camera operator James Rose were still on board at time of crash near Mornington

The wreckage of an ex-military fighter jet that crashed into Victoria’s Port Phillip Bay has been found off the shore at Mornington.

Crews have been scouring Port Phillip Bay for any sign of TV camera operator James Rose, 30, and pilot Stephen Gale, 56, after their Jetworks Aviation flight went down at about 1.45pm on Sunday.
